Advertising Your Products

This morning I stopped by a Starbucks coffee shop to buy a big latte for me, as a lot of work was waiting me on my office.
I met Daniel, a college student from my neighborhood, a nice young fellow, who always had questions. I was in a hurry, but until my latte was “professionally” made, I changed a couple of works with Daniel.
He asked me “how we make a profitable blog”. My answer was:
- Publish terrific rich content with a lot of value
- Then drive traffic, traffic, and traffic
I saw in Daniel eyes that he was disappointed with my answer, but I had to live and I promise an email later.
Now I am sitting in my tiny office, sipping my latte, and I am wandering what disappointed Daniel.
Driving traffic is not a deep down kept secret nowadays, he knows this, he learns in college about it. I try to connect the dots from our other conversations, and I conclude, that he is allergic to work “traffic”, he thinks that it is too big fuss about it, and it is too time consuming to do it, I think this is it. To time consuming…
Well, how I can explain to him the driving traffic process, without to pronounce the work “Traffic”. Hm!
This is want I come up with.
Ezine Article it is a challenge place to be, they are:
- A rich sources for informing, learning – as they have plenty of links in the box
- If you chose a specific keyword and you look at the most watched article (at least 3000 visitors, Wow!), you easily can collect great long tails keywords from the articles with so many visitors, why? Because it is working! When was last time when you got 3000 visitors?
- You will find the trends just looking at which DP is successful vs. you know what
- Did you write articles? What you are waiting for? Where? Here:
Important note: Publish first in EzineArticle, wait until you are approved, then jump and post almost the same article on other ezine…
Do you hear about the most effective banner exchange programs?
You can advertise your banners right now, in minutes:
Do you want to know which Forums I like the most?
Here they are, but please review the forum’s terms of service to make sure that they allow marketing on their forum, what king of signature box you can have (don’t tell me that I forget the alphabet order, because I put them in my favorite order):
- Digital Point Forums
- The Warriors Forum
- My Marketing Forum
- Associates Forum
- ClickbankSuccessForum
- eWealth
- Instant Buzz Community Forum
- Free Advertising Forum
- Marketing Study Hall
- MoneyMakerGroup
- WhyDoWork
- IM4Newbies
- Michael Green’s How-To Forum
Pst! Did I pronounce the word “traffic”? No! Didn’t I?
Then I’ll cut and paste that list and e-mail Daniel right away and I’ll go tomorrow at Starbucks coffee shop again, I am sure he will be there.
Until next time, be informed

Hello! World, I have started this Blog just one week ago, all I did was learn how to create a 3 columns WordPress Blog on my domain (up till now I have only created blogger.com blogs). The learning process was done creating: posts, pages, widgets and this is the inauguration day for my Monthly Newsletter.I want to start thanking a lot of people who have helped me with their patience, guidance, knowledge, it is a long list, but I selected the best:
- Eric Holmlund, Derrick VanDyke, JP Schoeffel, Mark Widawer
- Very talented people I met on SSP Forum: Carol, Paula, Peggy, Robin, Rigdha, Lee, Dan, John Szram, Keith, Randy etc
- The list is definitely longer, I try to keep in touch on Twitter
I take a break from Internet Marketing!
I decided to dedicate this first Monthly Newsletter edition
to Thanksgiving, because it is a time of joy, hope, treasured moments with family and friends.Thanksgiving History Facts! The Pilgrims who sailed to America were originally members of the English Separatist Church. To escape religious persecution, and in the hope of a better life, they used the help of a London stock company to move them out to America. But those making the trip aboard the Mayflower only 1/3 were Separatists and the rest were non-Separatists.
They reached Plymouth in 1620, and they had to face a terrible winter. From 102, around 45 of them had died by the next fall. Some Indians had helped the Pilgrims survive their first year. It is believed that the Pilgrims would not have made it through the first year without the help of the natives.
The fortune turned in their favor when the harvest of the next year was bigger than expected, and the remaining colonists and the friendly Indians decided to celebrate with a feast that lasted three days. They ate:- Wild fowl: ducks, geese, and turkey
- Boiled pumpkin, and a fried bread from their corn crop, as the supply of flour had been long diminished, so there was no bread or pastries
- Also fish, berries, watercress, lobster, dried fruit, and plums
The “thanksgiving” feast was not repeated the following year. In 1623, was
a severe drought, the pilgrims gathered to pray for rain. When a long, steady rain followed the next day, Governor Bradford proclaimed another day of Thanksgiving; again they invited their Indian friends.
It wasn’t until June of 1676 that another Day of Thanksgiving was proclaimed. October of 1777 marked the first time that all 13 colonies joined in a thanksgiving celebration.
George Washington proclaimed a National Day of Thanksgiving in 1789. Thanksgiving was proclaimed by every president after Lincoln. And in 1941, Thanksgiving was finally established by Congress as a legal holiday, as the fourth Thursday in November.I am sending this first edition to my entire list, but if you like my Blog, please sign in.Starting with the second Monthly Newsletter, I will send it only the subscribers.
Are you finished shopping for the Holiday Season?
I am not and this year I shall extend my research to Amazon, I will check out eBay, and travel less to the malls.
On-line shopping is more convenient and less time consuming. What about you?For sugestions you can click:
“Michey’s Building Toys Store“
on the first sitebar
Are you optimistic about the future?
Yes I am, I think it will get worse prior to get better, but I really believe that People goodness will be at his best and we will overcome economic problems, we will succeed to make our life better, and we will continue to be the most generous country on earth.Don’t you think?
Next goal to accomplish?
Mine is to grow my business to be better, more productive, and helpful as well. I want my financial independence
to get beyond the comfort level.
To accomplish this I am working on a series of Web 2.0 Digital Products. I am working on the first one right now, it is almost done. The purpose is taking one Web 2.0 Application at a time and explaining what is in it for us
and how we can benefit. What is yours?
How to get FREE traffic using Web 2.0?
This is a major subject for me. I don’t want to change this post into a survey, but if you have a specific Web 2.0 topic you are interested in, I’ll do my best to make it part of my plan. What are the Web 2.0 topics you are interested in?
I wish you all Happy Thanksgiving if you are living in the States, if you don’t, I wish you love, health, prosperity and harmony in your life.

As always, you are welcome to leave your comments here on the blog.

Until next time, all the best Michaela

Why Resell Rights for Digital Products
Filed under: Affiliate Marketing; Tagged as: Affiliate Marketing, Clickbank, digital products, eCourse, master resell rights, private label, rebranding, recurring income, resell righteNo CommentsResell rights means you bought a given good or service, and you are able to resell it at a profit.
Resell Rights essentials
There are a few basic things to must know about the different types of resell rights, and how they work.
Under the generic name of “Resell Rights” you will find 4 types:- Resell Rights
- Master Resell Rights
- Private Resell Rights
- Rebranding
Type 1: Basic Resell Rights have to do with being able to buy a product and sell it. Generally speaking, there are restrictions on how you can brand the product, as well as a suggestion about the amount you can charge for the product, but is just a suggestion, the last word is yours.
Type 2: Master Resell Rights have all the privileges of basic resell rights, but also create the right for your customers to resell the product as well.
Type 3: Private Label Resell Rights means that the name of the original author is intact, and the product is still recognizable as being an original, a private label arrangement allows you to customize the product.
Type 4: Rebranding is the most popular form of resell rights, you acquire an existing product and repackage it under your own brand name.
Note: When you see an ad about Resell Rights, read carefully the license, each author creates his own list of DO and DON’T rules for his Resell Rights license.
You can find Resell Rights Products or you can create your own. You can fail at the first try or you can create a recurring income that can vary between a couple of hundreds and 5 digits amount per month.
The real advantages of being successful selling Digital Products vs physical products are:
- No inventory, space to deposit the products
- The entire process can be 100% automated
- Create a recurring source of income, which will continue to produce money when you sleep, go in vacation, take a break for your family needs
How to Find Resell Rights Products
You probably heard that a good salesperson can sell anything, this is partially true. Usually has to be some degree of love affair between the seller and the product in order to be successful. Find the right products to market, you cannot do a perfect job to advertise a product you hate or you know nothing about it.
The following steps are the key of your success:- Go after what you know, pursue a hobby, a skill
- Look for something that is not already done to death
- Search the balance between the popularity and the competition
- Don’t jump and commit in a hurry, research first, commit later
- Go to your favorite search engine and type in “your topic” + “resell rights”. You’ll end up with a list of sites selling rights to products related to your subject
- I suggest ClickBank as a major source of Digital Products, and I suggest to buy and use the product, this way you know enough about it and is easy to be enthusiastic about the product
How to Create Your Own Resell Rights Products
You may be able to create your own product and then engage a number of affiliates (resellers) to handle the marketing and sales efforts for you.
Things to consider for your own resell rights product:
- Keep it simple, the more focused the product, the better your chances of success
- Make the resell strategy as simple as possible, create the terms of the right to resell that are clear and will not be subject to interpretation
- Consider a variety of digital products as the core of your product line: software, ebooks, videos, eCourses, interviews, webinars, audios, reviews, resources and so on
- Include a complete package with materials for your customers to be able to resell your product: landing page, graphics, resell rights license, emails, signatures, post on blog, articles, and the product itself
If you are a beginner Affiliate Marketer it is up to you to educate yourself or just try “trial and error”.
For a true beginner I recommend an eCourse about selling Digital Products with Resell Rights, that will clarify the necessary details of entire process and will save you hours and days of hard work:
http://www.mc-ebay-resources.com/recommends/RReCourse
When I started I use “trial and error” and it was hard, time consuming, and even frustrating.
As always, you are welcome to leave your comments here on the blog.
Untill next time, all the best

This will be probably a subject we are going to live with for a while! I really believe, that we the people, can pull it through but, in our economy, nothing is going to happen over night.
Being an Internet Marketer, I think as a marketer, and try to analyze the patterns to make events work to our advantage.
Some topics on Internet Marketing are fashionable, we talk about them and after a while we forget about them because new topics emerge as new winners and grab our attention.
“Multiple Streams of Income” was a legitimate topic 2-3 years ago, but it was a limited subject.
Web 2.0 Applications (Social Bookmarking, Social Networking, Podcasting and so on) replaced MSOI. The difference is Web 2.0 is so big and diverse that we will continue to pay attention to it for many years to come, especially because the Web 2.0 produces a revolution, a shift on Internet mentality and habits. As cannot predict, and definitely cannot see the end of the tunnel for our economy yet, I think it is wise to come back to the Multiple Streams of Income topic and see how we can create them now, as keeping all the eggs in one basket can hurt us. And the good news is, the Web 2.0 knowledge we have, can substantially enhance our endeavor. In other words, we can now have a different prospect of the Multiple Streams of Income topic.
If you have a good job now, and if you love your job, keep it! But in your spare time you can try other avenues to make money, even if you don’t need them:
- You will sleep better and
- You will be covered in case something happens
By all means, I am not suggesting that something really wrong will happen, but I expect the recovery of our economy to be a slow process, and we have to survive in any event.
Generally speaking we have to improve ourselves, enhance, and add new skills as quickly as we can.
Don’t jump and choose all the avenues I’ll present in 2 Blog posts. Have a good cup of coffee and think it through, see which avenues are attainable for you and concentrate on improving yourself on those avenue(s), only.
I am takeing the liberty to tell you this, because it is a major mistake to spread the activity too widely from the start. YES, we need more Streams but I suggest to take one at a time and do it right, after you are comfortable with the first one, you can start the next one. The order in which I have decided to talk about these avenues has a logic and a purpose. Let’s see what we can do:
1. Sale on eBay and/or on other Selling-Channels.We can make money selling on eBay, it is not as easy as 5-7 years ago but we can still do this and we must add new selling-channels and adopt new tactics on eBay as well.
Steve Lindhorst, former eBay University Instructor, gave us an interesting book “Selling on the River”
http://www.mc-ebay-resources.com/recommends/SOTR3
He explains that there are good benefits coming out of Multi-Channel Selling, we can also sell on Amazon and he gives us all the details about how to do it.Ebay and Amazon are different, the rules are different, but the audience is different as well and we can fully take advantage of it using both.
I was surprised, intrigued, and delighted as the same time because people are usually biased but Steve is not, he is just an open minded and talented businesman. His position is to use both eBay and Amazon, I think he is right, and his idea is backed by Skip McGrath who is a veteran eBay Seller, author of the oldest eBay Newsletter, and author of a couple of very popular Digital Products, he is an established business person in his own right. I personally learned a lot over the years from Skip.Reading Steve’s eBook you learn the differences between eBay and Amazon and learn how to sell on Amazon, he kind of presumes that you know how to sell on eBay, but if you don’t it is easy to learn both at the same time.
2. Affiliate Marketing, selling our or other people’s products.
You can do Affiliate Marketing, it is excellent if you already have your own Digital Product, but until then, you can start selling others’ products as an affiliate.
ClickBank is a tremendous MarketPlace where you can find Digital Products to sell. If you need to train yourself on how to do it, I recommend two very good DP which will literally guide you how to do it step-by-step:The Commission Blueprint
http://www.mc-ebay-resources.com/recommends/ComBPAffiliate Cash Secrets:
http://www.mc-ebay-resources.com/recommends/ACSVI used both and I was impressed by the quality and brilliance of the content.
I also recommend Resell Rights Express,
http://www.mc-ebay-resources.com/recommends/RREI have it, I haven’t use it yet, it is a new product, but the review is excellent. Let me know, if you try it first. If I’ll try it first I’ll post a review on this blog.
I don’t want to make this blog too long, you will soon get part II. You already have 2 Streams of Income to think about, you have suggested training for them, and many more Streams are comming in Part II. The rest of it is up to you, don’t forget that taking action is crucial.
Until next time, all the best
