Squidoo Events
Filed under: How to Squidoo; Tagged as: How to Squidoo, Joan Adams, jolly judicious jetsetters, Squidoo team3 CommentsJolly Judicious Jetsetters.
It started as a buzzzz… I didn’t pay a lot of attention as I was working on 2-3 projects at a time… and wanted to get rid of my information overload… sweet dreams…And the buzz culminates with a personal invitation from Joan Adams: Giant Squid, Squid Angel, 100 lens club, a person I like, and respect, we are squidoo friends.
Can I ignore my friends? Never!I start reading, I find out that Joan is a Greeter – she has her own team called “Jolly Judicious Jetsetters” and I am invited to join.
Meticulous as she is, Joan creates a lens about her team, she explains the purpose, the mechanism of participation, even the name of her team:
http://www.squidoo.com/jolly-judicious-jetsettersThen I educate myself with other info coming from the fabulous Squidoo team.
At this point I was in. It wasn’t just another challenge, it was:
-
the spirit of Squidoo
-
the dedication of hard working people
-
the excellent team habits and manners
-
the joy of shooting for the stars
-
that type of creative togetherness which brings the best from each of us
-
and Joan with her optimism, dedication to a cause, and her impeccable credentials.
Now I am a member of “Jolly Judicious Jetsetters” and I invite you to join and discover our team, time sensitive you can do it until first May, click on this picture, and trust me, it will be a joy:
Just live a message on the Squidoo lens and you are in!
Thanks for reading

Filed under: Free Web 2.0 Traffic, How to Squidoo; Tagged as: How to Squidoo, squidoo income, squidoo lens, squidoo lens of the day, twitter, twitter applications, twitter trafficNo CommentsFrom all Web 2.0 Applications, Twitter and Squidoo are the most visible, used, and embraced with user love and addiction. For the second time Squidoo meet Twitter today when a squidoo lens, about Twitter Applications, is featured #1, Squidoo Lens of the Day:
http://www.squidoo.com/twitterappsThis lens is a collection of 275 applications about Twitter, YES 275.
I love both of them; I pretend that I know a lot about Twitter and Squidoo, but this lens shamed me.I probably know 25-30 applications, I publish a part of them in this Blog, but a list of 275 catch me by surprise.

In Nov. 2008 I stumble upon an interesting lens on Squidoo, Mark’s Challenge
http://www.squidoo.com/50adaywithSquidooHe was making $1 a day and he decided that he wanted to make $50 a day with Squidoo.
He also decided to document all his actions to accomplish this challenge; this was a wise decision as he attracted more visitors, more traffic, a better rank on Squidoo and more money!I was looking from time to time, I was very busy with December activities, but at the end of Dec. I decided to create a challenge on my own.
Mine is a modest challenge but I am determined to make it and following his example I start documenting everything, this is my challenge: http://www.squidoo.com/SquidIncomeGoal
I think I had a good start, in 2 weeks I am ranked 19 in the category “How-to” and 645 rank overall. It is a funny and intense daily job:
- I expend my Squidoo activity
- I learn a lot about getting traffic to lenses
- I meet a great community of Squids what support me, keep an eye on what I am doing
- I keep a day-by-day log as well, and
- I hope I’ll make it! (my dead line is 30 March)
You probably think that $30 a day with Squidoo it is not a big deal. It is, as:
- This means $900 extra money per month
- If I’ll succeed with $30 a day, the learning curve is done and I can raise the bar and make how much I want per day
- I’ll prove that it is possible to make money with Squidoo lenses
- I can inspire others to try similar challenges
I’ll keep you posted and I invite you to look it over to my Squid Income Goal. Do you Squidoo? Do you make money with Squidoo?
Let me know your experience with Squidoo!Until next time all the best
Michaela
